Marcus Trute – Restructurer with Heart

Marcus Trute brings 30 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, sports and fashion to his work – as an executive, entrepreneur, and trusted sparring partner in complex growth situations.
His career began in brick-and-mortar retail and led through senior roles in industry – including Head of Sales and Marketing – to co-founding an event agency and becoming Managing Partner in international e-commerce.

He has worked with brands such as Nike, Adidas and ON, negotiating strategic partnerships, developing innovative sales and marketing strategies, and driving ambitious growth – both operationally and culturally.

Marcus combines deep leadership insight with practical experience in the key areas of sales, marketing and procurement.
What sets him apart is not only his entrepreneurial range, but his ability to make leadership effective under pressure – whether building resilient growth systems or navigating investors, advisory boards and divergent interests.

He specializes in situations where leadership, structure and culture are under simultaneous pressure – because he’s lived through them himself.
As a CEO and shareholder, he has shaped succession processes, led restructuring efforts, and guided companies through M&A and due diligence phases.

He knows from firsthand experience how critical it is in these moments to rely on structures that enable fast, sound decisions – and on a leadership culture that can integrate uncertainty and dissolve 

resistance constructively.
