Stefan Hövel is an expert in digital change and transformation, regularly published in the press as well as a presenter at industry events as a speaker and moderator.
As former marketing and division manager with an 8 years track record for different multinational brands like Helly Hansen, F2 and Nestlé Nutrition, Stefan has also over 10 years experience in research and consulting and has specialized in digital strategy and transformation. He has advised on building digital enterprise and digital ecosystems as well as cross-media and cross-channel solutions.
Stefan is owner of a strategy consultancy advising clients on how to develop and improve their online approaches, predominantly supporting market leading manufacturers in consumer markets. The most important transformation project took 7 years for the well-known and global brand Thermomix, a multi-functional kitchen device. Stefan supported the international HQ and local subsidiaries with research, consulting, coaching, training and also as an interim manager during the TM5 launch in 2014.
Furthermore he conducted more than 50 analyses and projects for leading companies and start-ups in various international markets e.g. sports, textile, consumer electronics, furniture, home & garden, do-it-yourself and FMCG.
Since 1995 the internet and digitalization were always playing an important role. Stefan coordinated early e-commerce projects (since 1996), created online communities (since 2005), was involved in social media strategies (since 2007) and developed digital ecosystems (since 2009). Today he focuses mostly on the development of digital ecosystems and digital transformation.
Depending on the project and task, Stefan can act in different roles as a consultant, interim manager, advisor or coach. His skills will qualify him as an interim “chief digital officer” (CDO) as well.
